After installing MyODBC in Windows XP successfully there is not any entry for MyODBC driver in drivers list from administrative tools > Manage ODBC
A problem in driver entry of the registre appears in SP2 and SP3, after the oracle driver definition line. I could find the solution through the comments from this MySQL bug

The following steps can be use as background for the bug:
