Still failing...in Chrome, but (oh, you are going to hate this) in IE8 I get the HTTP Security Warning message "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?".
If I click "Yes", the tabs don't load and the page is a mess.
If I click "No", the page loads correctly and looks nice.

In addition to my previous post, in Chrome I noticed a security icon at the end of the address field. I clicked it and it said there was an unsafe script. When I clicked the "Run unsafe script", it loaded correctly, but now the 'https' part of the address has a red strikeout over it on that page.

I think it's an extreme reaction to the wonder that is Win8: he downgraded as far as possible to get away from it.

Hang on...
I got your email about your account on RootAdmin but have not had time to scratch myself.
Does you posting here mean your account is sorted out?

No. I really thought it was but after closing the browser down, I was unable to log in on CP again. I did the whole thing over again and right now I have My Settings loaded in Chrome on CP and on RA and they are showing the same address (the one I want to use), but when I then try to log in to CP with that address in IE, it fails with the message "Unable to logon: Account verified, but expected account details not found on CodeProject".
I tried clicking the "Log out from other locations" and I tried a couple of combinations of verifying the addresses, but I seem to end up in the same place.

This time it looks like I found a working solution. I simply configured my brand new (3rd) email address in My Setting on CP. The setting was reflected on the My Settings page on RA. I verified the address on both sites and now I am able to log out from both sites, close and reopen the browser and log in on both sites again.
I tested it with Chrome 31 and IE8 on WinXP, as well as on IE10 on my WP8.
It's not really the email address I wanted to use, but since it works, I will go ahead with this solution.

I was looking at the article filter.
the lowest score you can filter by is 1.
What if a Article has no score or 0
Which I assuume would means no one cast a vote.
So you would no beable to filter to see all of them ?

If no vote it won't be filtered out.

When I visit the Who's Who page, then I get this error:
Something bad happened
We're not sure what, but we have a few guesses.
Problem: An item with the same key has already been added.

It's really weird the way this account and my SoMad account are linked. They have the same "Friendly Link" listed when you look at the profile pages and the points increase on both simultaneously.
Here is the kicker (sorry, I just had to try if it worked ): Using this account, I can upvote posts made from my SoMad account and both accounts get 1 Organiser point for voting and 3 Debator points for receiving a vote... :befuddled:
My SoMad account[^]
My other account[^]
Let me repeat how all this happened, so the information is available here and not just in the email I sent to Chris.
- I changed my email address on CodeProject and later discovered I was unable to log in here. Trying to log in with both my old and new email would fail. I had to change my email address because I had been using my work email for the past 10 years, but now that I no longer work there, I cannot keep using the address.
- A couple of weeks later, I tried changing my email on CodeProject back to the old email and was able to log in on both sites.
- I tried doing the email address change here on RootAdmin, but as feared it caused failure when trying to log into CodeProject, so I changed things back again.
- I then tried linking up to my Facebook account (which is using the same email account as is configured on CodeProject), but when I then logged into RootAdmin using the Facebook link, it created a new account (ID 849) with my full name from Facebook and some of the information transferred from my original RootAdmin account (ID 787), but with the Protector role missing.
I have removed the Facebook link from my account, but that has actually not solved anything.
Additional note: At some point during my adventures, a couple of fields in my Professional Profile were cleared - at least the "Company Size" field. I am not sure when that happened, but it might have been when I linked up to my Facebook account and then deleted that again.
When I entered the field values and saved my settings, I received 250 Participant points once again (on my CodeProject account).

Try ordering by Reputation... :explosion:
BTW, I would not be surprised if the problem has to do with my two accounts.
