I don't have a problem with it aside from the fact it's bigger and uglier than 2.0.
But hey, for the speed, it's worth it.

How can it be "Micro" if it is bigger than a usb 2.0 ?
Also I thought a "Standard" 3.0 was supposed to fit into a 2.0

I'm not sure how it can still be "micro" either.
As far as "standard" 3.0 being backwards compatible with 2.0, yes it does fit. I can plug my 3.0 device into a 2.0 slot and use 2.0 speed, but I can also plug my 2.0 device into my 3.0 slot and use 2.0 speed. It works both ways.

great, I have not had a chance to try a 3.0 Item yet.

Trust me, it's a lot of fun.

I was kicked off CP but I can still access CodeProject.tv.

So you would like Chris to also kick you off that site. He can probably do that

No, I was just thinking since it was for beta testers on CP. Was suprised when it logged me in.
|
|
|
|
|
And why were you kicked from CP?
|

I believe[^] it was three posts in the Lounge. It seems a bit harsh to get kicked off for that.

He can always appeal to the Hamsters - but I must admit his posts didn't appeal to me!

I did not exactly bookmark the posts either

Sugs'n'bugs[^] - or you could ask Chris nicely here on RA in the equivalent forum: Sugs'n'Bugs RA[^] and save yourself setting up a throwaway to post the question.
No guarantees, but accounts have been reinstated in the past (you may have to promise to play nice, I dunno).

Thank you but I checked my email and I had already gotten a 'Welcome to CodeProject' message yesterday. Maybe that's a bug I wouldn't know and I was also given 300 points as well for joining (newsletters and sign up), probably its the same way 'those who shall not be named' got back on CP. However, CP does not allow you post any message without creating an account, so, I couldn't access Sugs'n'bugs while I was kicked. Good to be back though, thanks for your help.

RootAdmin Says: Welcome back Bond, you'll be logged in after refreshing this page.
I've never noticed that before.

A new addition. We wanted to make login seamless between RootAdmin and CodeProject.
Now if only we would prepend a "Mr" to your name, and maybe offer you a martini.
cheers

Oh, okay. Got it.

It looks like they took a new rating scheme out for a spin. See the new up-down arrows at the left of the message. I am afraid to try it out

Hey lookey! It works for me!
Here's a 5.

That happened. But in a couple of minutes, it was fixed and ratings are back. Yay!
