Matt has over 9 years .NET and SQL Server development experience. Before getting into .Net, he worked on a number of systems, ranging from the largest ATM network in The Netherlands to embedded software in advanced Wide Area Networks and the largest ticketing web site in Australia. He has lived and worked in Australia, The Netherlands, Slovakia and Thailand.

My first experience with computers was when my mom gave a Timex Sinclair 1000 to me for Christmas some time in the late 70's (I still have it)There I learned to copy code from magazines to save to cassette tapes for playing games.

Since then I have dabbled in:
Basic,Qbasic,ruby,python,Java Script, HTML, CSS, C#, C++, Perl, and a few other I can't think of off hand.
Now I Mainly work with VB Script and VB.Net
I Prefer to build programs that make use of the GUI so I don't have to remember all of the syntax for console apps. I realy don't care much for HTML because of the way you build and then run to see if it looks right. Also the new WPF is to much like HTML so I steer clear of it for now.
Most of what I build is for getting information from a system to use in system repair.I make heavy use of the WMI classes. Why reinvent something.

I started development 37 years from now, since MSX basic. Started Windows programming with VB 2.0 and Web programming with ASP 3.0. Then I built Windows Forms, Web Applications, NT services and WPF applications using Microsoft.NET. I am MCP in Visual Basic 6.0, MCAD and MCSD.NET in Framework 1.1, MCPD Web in Framework 2.0, MCTS in .NET 3.5 workflow, MCTS in .NET 3.5 communication foundation, windows presentation foundation and MVC applications. Built MVC Web Application and WCF services using Micro Services architecture proposed by me. Working with AI projects to improve the business performance and customer experience. Besides programming I love running, swimming, reading and movies.

Daniel Doubrovkine has been in software engineering for twelve years and is currently development manager at Application Security Inc. in New York City. He has been involved in many software ventures, including Xo3 and Vestris Inc, was a development lead at Microsoft Corp. in Redmond, and director of Engineering at Visible Path Corp. in New York City. I am a Microsoft certified Technology Specialist in MS SQL Server 2008 and 2005.I have fair amount of experience and expertise in MS database development, administration and modeling and MS BI. Started my career in 2007 and primarily into MS databases, and later diversified into MS BI especially SSIS. I also have a little exposure in Oracle 10g while working on one of the migration projects. But MS SQL Server is my passion!

Firm believer in knowledge grows from sharing, I really like reading books, trying new features and sharing the little that I know. Unless we're willing to have a go, fail miserably, have another go, success won't happen. The best thing I have discovered about myself is the "never say die" attitude.
