New install of Windows needs a bunch of little things added

Introduction

I used to keep a list of apps, patches and what not that I used to have to install when setting up a machine but its been a whle since I have been on the desktop role so I thought it would be good to make a little list here. Please feel free to add your submision as a comment and I'll add it to the list.

Now I am not talking about whatever in house applications, windows updates, other software packages like Office or home type applications you use. I mean the core everyday business essentials type stuff that would be common to every company out there...

Windows 7 add ons

  • Flash Player
  • Alternate Browser (Typically firefox and chrome get installed)
  • Java JRE
  • .net framework
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Some antivirus/malware program... typically this has been Security Essentials
  • Silverlight
  • GoTo Meeting Codec
  • Skype
  • MSN Live Messenger

I think thats my list of general things, without these I'll be getting calls to install one of them within a week. Anything I am missing?
