MySQL throws Data trucanted for column 'colum name' at row n...

Is not an error. Is an alert because MySQL rounded or trim the data you want to update

Some times we confuse an alert with an error.

The text "Data trucanted for column 'colum name' at row n..." indicates that the data you want to set to update a column has more decimals than the expected or in the case of string is longer thant the expected.

 No error happened. But You should to check after update if the data stored is your desired values.
